R. Rex Parris Named to Los Angeles Business Journal: Inside The Valley's Valley 200
Free ConsultationLancaster, CA - PARRIS Law Firm is proud to announce that founding partner R. Rex Parris was named to the Los Angeles Business Journal: Inside The Valley's 2025 Valley 200, an annual recognition of the most impactful and powerful business leaders throughout the Greater Valley region.
Inside The Valley recognized Parris, a Lancaster native and longtime mayor, for his civic leadership, legal career and impact on the Antelope Valley business community. The publication noted that Parris has served as Lancaster's mayor for 17 years and helped guide the city's push toward alternative energy, including Lancaster's recognition as the first city in the United States to achieve zero net energy status.
"This recognition means a great deal because it reflects the region where I was raised, built my career, raised my family and continue to serve," Parris said. "The Antelope Valley deserves bold leadership, whether that means fighting for families in the courtroom, building a stronger local economy or making sure Lancaster remains a city that looks to the future. I am grateful to Inside The Valley for this honor."
Parris founded PARRIS Law Firm in Lancaster and built it into one of California's leading plaintiffs' trial firms. His work spans catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, environmental, employment and civil rights matters. In recent years, PARRIS Law Firm secured major results for injured people and communities, including a $59.892 million settlement for more than 1,200 Sun Valley and Pacoima residents in litigation involving alleged gas leak exposure at the LADWP Valley Generating Station and a $20 million wrongful death verdict involving a drunk driving collision in Lancaster.
The Valley 200 recognition also reflects Parris' work beyond the courtroom. In addition to his service as mayor, Parris has supported numerous community initiatives, including the Lancaster Child Abuse Task Force, the Antelope Valley War on Gangs, the Valley Volunteers Program, the American Cancer Society and the Salvation Army's annual Angel Tree program.
"Rex has always believed that trial lawyers have a duty to do more than win cases," the firm said. "His career reflects a commitment to changing lives, strengthening communities and holding powerful institutions accountable."
Parris' inclusion in the Valley 200 follows a long list of professional honors, including recognition by Best Lawyers, the Daily Journal, The Recorder and Consumer Attorneys of California.
