We are proud to announce that Khail A. Parris, a dedicated partner at the PARRIS Law Firm, has been named among the Top Plaintiff Lawyers by the Daily Journal, California’s premier legal publication. This prestigious recognition highlights Khail’s exceptional legal skills, as well as his dedication to justice, integrity, and advocacy on behalf of our clients.

Khail has long been a pillar of PARRIS Law Firm since boyhood - raised in Lancaster and deeply rooted in the community, his passion for trial law started early, having grown up doing homework on the firm’s floors and soaking in the energy of the courtroom.

Since joining the firm, Khail has helped secure over $200 million in verdicts and settlements, continuing the legacy built by his father, R. Rex Parris, founder of the firm. This most recent honor recognizes something more: Khail’s ability to transform a difficult case into a story of empathy and justice.

A Landmark $77.1 Million Jury Verdict

In October 2025, Khail joined forces with R. Rex Parris and Curtis J. Crawford to win a stunning $77.1 million verdict on behalf of a motorcyclist who was catastrophically injured in a collision on the Angeles Forest Highway. The case presented significant challenges, which Khail tackled directly.

Rather than tiptoeing around public perception, he addressed it head-on during jury selection. With a human-centered approach, he framed the narrative to be, not about motorcyclists, but about people. His argument moved hearts, saying: “[This man’s father] didn’t want to be a caregiver… he wanted to be a father to his son.”

His message resonated deeply with the jurors, including one who had later shared that her own personal experience made her connect with Khail’s closing words.

Precision, Compassion, and Credibility in the Courtroom

Throughout the trial Khail demonstrated that advisory speed signs are guidelines - not speed limits - and proved that the defendant was liable for the collision. More importantly, he expertly helped jurors understand the human cost of the collision - the pain, the physical damage, and the strain it can have on family relationships.

Following the verdict, the jury foreperson praised Khail for maintaining credibility throughout the trial - an acknowledgment that speaks to his character as much as his career. Khail’s goal is not just to reach a verdict - it’s about telling the truth, and telling it with heart.

A Tradition of Excellence - Built for the Future

At PARRIS Law Firm, pursuing justice is not just a profession - it’s a calling. Khail’s recognition by the reflects the values we live every day: relentless advocacy, authenticity, and respect for the individuals involved in every case.
