PARRIS obtained a $4,300,000 jury verdict in a consumer class action against Halo Resorts, Inc.
Halo Resorts, an outdoor recreation company, falsely represented membership terms and charged its members termination and cancellation fees that were never disclosed in its contracts. After a two-week trial, the jury reached a unanimous fraud verdict for intentional misrepresentation, concealment, and negligent misrepresentation. The court subsequently awarded attorney’s fees in the seven figures.
