Bruce L. Schechter is Of Counsel at PARRIS Law Firm.
Schechter brings more than four decades of trial experience to PARRIS, where he represents individuals who have suffered catastrophic injuries. Schechter’s outstanding track record includes bringing more than 190 trials to verdict and helping clients recover multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements. Since joining PARRIS in 2015, Schechter’s expert medical knowledge and deposition skills have helped countless clients secure the funds they need to access medical care, financial stability, and fulfilling lives.
In 2018, Schechter was part of a trial team that secured $53 million for two brothers who were severely injured in a head-on collision with a semi-truck driver for CRST. The verdict in Lenning v. CRST, Inc. was one of the highest plaintiff's jury verdicts in the nation that year. In 2023, Schechter was part of a team that landed a $6 million verdict for a valet driver who was severely injured by a drunk driver. Schechter has helped clients secure results exceeding eight figures in multiple cases, and his work has been covered by numerous media outlets, including the Los Angeles Times and the Orange County Register.
Schechter is devoted to providing guidance to early-career attorneys. He has taught trial practice at Chapman University’s Fowler School of Law, and teaches deposition techniques for Trial Lawyers University.
Schechter spent the first three decades of his career as a defense litigator, and was invited to the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) in 1999.
